Poor sick Todd
Todd is in the hospital right now -- he had what we thought was a very bad flu, but he has some swelling in his ankle. This might be related to his diabetes but I don't know much. But have gone to see him over the past couple of days and his high fever is down, he's slept more, and looks better. Poor bird.

He hasn't been hanging around Mexicans, has he? Maybe the temporary foreign workers at the gallery?
When I went in last night, he had an oxygen tube and I was immediately like, "Do they think you have SWINE FLU?" But it was just that his fever was high enough that he wasn't getting quite enough oxygen.
That sounds serious. They don't just let people stay in the hospital any more, they really have to think you're sick. I hope he's okay.
He will be okay -- I heard from Carmen that he is looking and feeling better than this morning, even. I was pretty crabby at Tuesday night's Board meeting in the face of all this.
Oops, and I meant to say: he didn't have the tube this morning. So that was immediately better as well.
I stopped by last night, and he seemed to be in good spirits, and had lots of company. He said he has 3 different infections, a staph, something just under the skin, and I can't remember the last one, but the weird thing is only on the left side of his body. I was glad to see him, cause otherwise I imagine all kinds of horrible things about the sick person.
Poor bird indeed! I hope he's getting better!
