Happy Earth Day
Earth Day. We can't see the earth because IT IS COVERED IN SNOW. Explain that, Al Gore.
Will got home on Monday, it is good to see him. Unfortunately, Geoff is doing a turnaround at work so has been working late.
The same model of toilet that we bought is on sale so we have bought two more and Geoff and Will installed one in the basement. The one upstairs works quite well. I am interested to see how much difference it makes in our water bill.
The toilets are for Earth Day. Hear that, earth, now can we get some sun?

To celebrate earth day (since there is no snow here), I am digging out the raspberry patch - it got out of hand. My jerky neighbors fence is falling down so am going to plant 5' cedars on my side so as not to see it. It is not my fence even as a shared boundary as it was up when we bought the lot and its been collapsing for some time and his answer is to put up some chicken wire and junk to keep the dog in. I am also planting potatoes in that patch - which I consider very earthy
Ask not what earth can do for you, Theresa, but what you can do for earth.
I am growing seedlings that await the end of frost before they are planted. I'm growing broccoli, cabbage, beets, and tomatoes. A lot of tomato seedlings. I may have been overambitious. Peas and corn are already in the ground.
I need to get one of those toilets too!
I hope Geoff's OT has been approved.
I am not doing anything for Earth Day except admiring the budding leaves on the bush outside my building, and the grass that is starting to look green on the leg grounds.
Allison, if you can find a Home Hardware they have American Standard toilets on sale, with soft close seat! $50 off what we paid for the first one which makes it $200.
Geoff- thanks for all your research on toilets!! unfortunately the american standard one is elongated so didn't fit in our bathroom- we ended up buying the dual flush pegasus at home depot. It works amazingly well with that little bit of water 3l or 6l vs 13l in the old one.
