Theological College

I just got a letter from VST (the Vancouver School of Theology - they've accepted me for a Masters of Divinity (ordination track) starting in September! I've been waiting for quite a while to hear, so I was pretty glad to get the letter today. It's a three year course, so a bit daunting from this end, but I'm sure it will go fast....

Fabulous news Will, is the school at UBC? Will you live in Res? I think Vancouver will be a fun place to live.

Yay, Will. I was pretty sure you would get in, but you never know for completely sure. There will be four Ferrey kids in university next year, two of them working on more degrees. One Ferrey kid earning money. That's quite a ratio.
We got an invitation to Jesse's wedding the other day. I love weddings. Looking forward to seeing you in your kilt.

Will is a groomsman and Jesse wants them to wear kilts. Will just snorted when he told me. Jesse is also part German; has he considered lederhosen?

Does Jesse have scotch in him? Or impersonating?
Congratulations Father Will!
You can look after my spiritual health and I'll look after your mental health.

Lisa, from the priests I've met, I'll need to take you up on your offer. Yes, Jesse is part scottish, just like every other canadian, and just like every canadian, he is inordinatly proud of it. When I get married, I'm going to make him wear a traditional Slovak costume- I'll wear a tux, and he can wear the peasent dress.

I really like the lederhosen idea, and if anyone could carry it off it would be Will. Will when you said that you would make Jesse wear peasonat dress, i immediately thought of that picture of Dad and uncle George, in their too short pants, boots and lovely hats, now that is a look that would add class to any wedding party.
