O.K. time for me to jump in and set the record straight. At this point I do welness massage, not treatment yet and never THAT kind of massage!

Anyways...

It was really nice to get my portable massage table though. For my first two home assignments Lisa was my guinea pig (I mean client) and we ended up going down to the college to use the treatment rooms there. Now that I have my own table I can do the massages at home or at someone else's place. Have table will travel!

The way it stands I can only use the same person twice for my assignments and Lisa has now used up her quota for the semester. She hooked me up with a couple of her friends / co-workers for my next two assignments so it looks like I'm good to go.

Maybe I could get some tips from all the world travellers out there. Do you think it would work if I "backpacked" (with my massage table)across Europe? That way I could earn cash as I went along to pay for my travels! It could be "Richard's Travelssage". I think I might be on to something here!

School is going well for the most part. I especially enjoy the practical aspect. I do struggle with one class in particular - "Musculoskeletal" - a lot of information but I keep plugging away. I'm not real fond of the way she tests us. Almost 50% of our test is a bell ringer style test where you have about 23 stations to go to with 2 questions at each station on a set timer (and no going back). I get some test anxiety as it is and for some reason that style of test seems to just make it worse. Oh well, will have to learn to adapt as her style of testing is not going to change (I asked).

When we went to Nakusp last week one of the managers from H.H. (previous job)just happened to be in line for the ferry behind us. I hadn't seen him since I left in mid/end August so I asked him how things were going. He said I left at the right time because in the last month or two there had been several investigations (re: employees) and of course they remained as short staffed as ever. It made me appeciate being back in school!

Not much else is new here as Lisa seems to update the blog on a regular basis. I must say though I do find it both interesting and at times quite entertaining reading the Family Ramblings!

Gotta get bact to the books to study for Anatomy and Physiology!
