Today's reno update
Came home to see that toilet and sink were removed, so that renovator could replace the ugly crappy pipes behind the sink, and prep the wall to start tiling. White tile will be about 5' high on the sink / toilet side. Maybe tomorrow I will come home to tile!

Yes. Sigh.
Today: water repellant membrane installed over drywall, tiles and spaces up in sink / toilet area. Toilet not reinstalled yet though. One more day.
It must be really exciting to come home and discover how far the bathroom has come since the day before.
Renovator just phoned me, crabby because I didn't have grout at my house. WHATEVER, RENOVATOR.
Did he ask for grouting earlier?
NO! and he's finishing up tiling now -- late, but worth it.

They had not heard of your bathroom.
Am enjoying being being part of this project from a distance.
