Not such a good start
I made it to the airport and checked in, through customs, boarded the plane, and then deplaned, still in Edmonton. A problem with the weather in San Francisco, means a delay for us. I am glad that they are not making us wait on the plane, much more comfortable waiting in the lounge.

In the new US area of the airport?
Sadly none of the above, US does not open until Feb 11, and AC lounge only in other part of the terminal. But I am now waiting for my delayed flight to Santa Barbara from San Francisco, making progress.
I made it to my new apartment, Yea!! landlord is very nice, he even got the bus schedule for me, and a pound of good coffee.
can you post link of house? I'd like to have an idea of what it looks like.
