Laura Lippincott or is it Lippencott?

I have read one of her books and started another. (recommendation of New York Times). They are v.g.+ suspense. If you are looking for another author, check her out. Kind of reminds me sort of writing style of Dennis Lehane. I hope she is not related to one of Lippi(e)ncott, Williams & Wilson publishers of textbooks. They seem to have a cartel on academic books and make, I would presume, an extraordinary amount of money.
I have to go study for another exam for my mental health course. I dreamt last night that i went into the exam, not having done anything for it, but can't remember how i did on the exam.
I will make some coffee to encourage myself to buckle down, instead of surfing the internet while listening to Emmy Lou Harris-Wrecking Ball. This album always makes me want to sob.

I still dream that I am going to high school math class and when I get there it's the final exam and then I remember that I didn't go to the class all year. I wake up in a sweat. I was in high school 35 years ago or something like that.

I love that EmmyLou Harris album. Sadly it was one of the ones that got lost in my travels and I don't think I have it anymore. Sniff.

Hello all

Spring has finally arrived here, so have quit sulking and started doing something. Its been pretty warm and the early bulbs are out - well not in my yard except for snowdrops, but the rest are out of the ground. The snow is going pretty fast, but its terribly dirty from sand etc. Anyway the sun is shining most days and everyone is more cheerful. Have extended myself to do some house work - how can one old woman and one small cat create so much houswork? Its beyond me.
Have been doing various thing to get ready for our trip - shopping odds and ends, banking etc. Its just over 2 weeks till we leave - time goes so fast.Am getting pretty excited - have added
time and climb to my daily walks in anticipation to the hills of Bangor. Feel that I'm in pretty good shape!

I have that dream too. Even when I am not in school.
Plus, after starting nursing, I have the dream that it is the end of my shift and I realize that I have not given any meds all shift. Other nurses have this one too.
Anxiety, why do you stalk me?

The hills of Bangor are certainly pretty fierce. Halifax had nothing on this place. That said, i have no doubts that you will be passing all the other pensioners within a couple of days!

Sounds like mom & dad might rent a car - so we can go see castles!! Going to be so much fun...

Think that the hills there will be similar to St Johns (NFL was once attached to Wales when there was only one continent) so am basing my prep on that assumtion. Am really eager to see some castles and see in my book that there are roman ruins close by too.
T and G - you're brave to be considering a car - when Joe and I had one in UK, he kept going up the down staircase!
Glad everyone is thinking of Cornwall - by the way, Jude says the bus system is good and cheaper that train.
