Karna Pics
We have posted our pictures from Karna. Go to Jesse's blog at jdavidrobertson.livejournal.com and find the pictures link on the right hand side. I realized today when I was captioning them that we a) didn't take as many as I had thought and b) forgot to take many of the actual town, insted going wild over the surrounding scenery. Still, the scenery is great!

AAAAHHHHH! So great to see these, and they do indeed bring back some distant memories! The church is where Dad was a choirboy. And some of the views you have, I remember looking at in 1998.
I really love how they have photos and flowers on the graves. It seems that people are kept very alive through this.
We were at George & Kay's last night, visiting (me, Mom, Anne) and brought a copy of your Karna post, Will --Kay said it was very well written, and George was thrilled.
This reminds me of showing George & Kay our pictures when Rob & I got back, and one of the men in the photos George recognized after 60 years. I believe he said something like, "Josef Karabinos? I would recognize that pie-face anywhere."
Very exciting, Will. So great!
Everything is so green in those pictures. I guess fall is later there. Some of our trees here have lost all their leaves. Looking at that cemetery makes me want to take an armload of flowers to ours for all the graves we visit.
Apparently not everyone is as used to visiting graveyards as I am. Jesse kept wantint to leave, and I wanted to see all the graves. I blame the regular trips to the graveyard in Rocky.
