Blue Jay Way

This morning, when I lay in bed drinking my coffee and wishing it wasn't 7:55am, I saw a blue jay outside! Usually, I just see magpies and pigeons. Perhaps roaming cats have scared away other less hardy birds. Still, it was nice to see.

But when I finally make it out of the apt., what makes my walk to work good every day this past week is the changing of the leaves. Bright yellow against a very Alberta-blue sky. And very crisp air but sunshine. It is a perfect fall here.

This week, I totally agree. Last week, not so much. But the river valley this week! Take your camera if you've got a few minutes and snap some pics.

This is the best time of year. The turning leaves are later than usual though.

Do you make coffee and then go back to bed to drink it? Or are the cats trained to prepare it and serve you?

Dogs have masters. Cats have staff.

I think fall is the best time of year-even better than spring. The leaves here are barely turning and its been lovely and warm in the day but cool overnight and early morning. Al if your cats are trained maids, give me the formula-mine just expects service.

Yes, I shower and make coffee, and then sit in bed, listening to World Report while I drink it.

Cats are WORSE than useless at making coffee! This year, I am hoping to get them to grow some thumbs so they can stop being such a burden to me.

Then again, we know, that babies could also be of more use.

I have to say that cats are cuter. the only problem is the thumbs. But babies can't serve you coffee in bed either.

Lisa, do you mean cats are cuter than babies or cuter than Allison? I think both are much cuter than cats. And babies have the future potential to serve you in bed.

Actually my cats are a lot cuter than a lot of babies.

Not sure about Allison. Snick.

I'm teaching them to serve me in bed, but they seems to think it's serving them in bed.

Hey Laura - long time no hear. Where have you been hiding or is it just that turning leaves are the only thinghappening in SL?
