elementary my dear Watson
Went to see Sherlock Holmes tonight (cheap Tuesday). At least there was Robert Downey and Jude Law to look at during the boring fight scenes. It was pretty good altogether, the plot was a bit hokey. I do love English accents.

I wanted to see Sherlock Holmes last weekend, but by the time I got my popcorn, it had already started and I did not want to come in partway through, so I went to see Up in the Air with George Clooney. I enjoyed it, and could really relate to the parts when he was at the airport and checking in etc.
I didn't mind the fight scenes. It was a good movie -- good twist at the end.
Holmes turned out to be a lot smarter than he looked. Although throughout I kept thinking of him as Robert Downey, not Holmes.
I went to see it yesterday, and noticed that the real Brits in the movie did not have perfect teeth, e.g.Lord Blackwell.
