Bangor uni psych dept are meeting about "my case" as we speak. Jane's galvanized them into action, finally (she's been galvanizing for a week, but they finally responded). She's gonna call within the next few hours to let me know what they decide. Apparently the problem is my foreign student status - I will cost them more money than the equivalent Brit!
Have to send my acceptance to Guelph by the end of the day to get it there by Wednesday, so if they don't decide today I've run out of time.
It's Tues here, so am eagerly waiting to hear whats happening in Bangor. Shud be some news by tomorrow. In the meantime, having recovered from jet lag, things are back to normal here and the time spent on holidays seems like a dream. Spring has at last arrived with summery weather for a couple of days, then back to normal or less. Things are growing and blooming - forscythia, apricots, hyacinth etc. this is yard waste week, so have 6 big bags of prunings out for pickup and have tackled the compost heap at the back - its pretty big and have managed to move about 20% of it ready to integrate into the Glenmore clay which just eats it up. So you can see that I've really recovered from our UK adventure! The other nite I put on the Antiques road show on PBS, and they were in Straud - was rreally excited about it - they gave a short histry of the town - it was one of the big woolen towns in its day, with dozens of mills on the rivers - the last one shut down in the 1980s, but is fired up from time to time for various celebrations. I remember one river there, but they did not show the parking lot, which was the only other thing that came to mind

aw, thanks dad. I'm sure that will come in handy.
