Good-bye visitors

Feeling so bad for the Longs. What a sad loss.

Grace was here for a day or so, she had an interview at the hospital here for a summer job. Jovita's aunt was one of the interviewers. Grace is thinking that working here would be very good experience and a good move career-wise. So we may have her with us for one last summer.

Now she and Jude have left. It was great having Jude here. Hope you folks in Kelowna can get as much work out of her as we did. I feel that mopping up the sewer overflow went above and beyond.

Geoff always feels sad when guests leave. He has been busy downstairs doing some cleaning up of stuff that got wet and has taken a lot out to the dump and recycling. There is only so much I can purge, I certainly don't want to be throwing out his stuff so when he gets to it it makes much more progress. He has difficulty tossing things so this is hard on him. So it's not such a great day for him. A bright spot is that he may be done work for a bit so some time at home is something to look forward to.
