Back from Kelowna
Just got back from a wonderful visit in Kelowna. Very restful. thank you Mom, Lisa and Richard for their hospitality. It was great to see everyone again. Glad Lisa found you Allison and that you found your wallet. that is a horrible feeling and wound not have been a good start to your wonderful visit. Here are some pictures from my visit, note the lack of snow not something I came back too. White stuff piled high here, sigh.

I didn't know there were turtles in Kelowna. Cool. And what are those coloured things coming out of the ground? Flowers?
nice turtle shot!
Lisa says: they are in the pond right behind her house. There is a turtle nesting ground.
I was confused about the colored stuff coming out of the ground. The locals explained it was to do with spring, something from my distant memory. It was lovely. We also saw a blue heron at the pond but it was not there when I had the camera. sadly
It was a nice visit as was the one the week before. Laura did not mention we also went to the Greenery & got pansies & primulas for more eartly blooms - ah. me! Those turtles are so ugly they're cute. There were also coots on the pond, so spring is really here
What was the visit the week before?
Jim was here for week - enjoyed the time together. He's hoping to come in the fall too - to paint the outside of my house - that made me happy. Your trip looked like really fun.
