Mom is a happening 80 year old, stuck with children who dislike change.
I was just thinking I'd like to never move again.

I don't dislike change. Just last week I rearranged the kitchen cupboards.
Well rearranging your cupboards sure proves you're not afraid of change, I'd say!
todays news is that I made an offer on the house and they accepted it - so guess I bought me a house!
Richard is being so helpful with hauling me around and making phone calls etc - I can't say how much I appreciate him. Also our family realtor did all the paper work for the offer as well as making helpful suggestions - he's also a very nice guy. As it stands now, we've set closing at June 25th - giving me lots of time to arrange interim financing (if neccessary and hopefully time enough to sell this place. Tonite is Lisas yoga nite, so Richard is downstairs packing up bottles, cans & glass jars for recicling and he's kindly offered to help get the yard shaped up for listing. I'd forgotten how much there is to do in getting a place ready for sale

mom, that is very exciting. I just want to point out that not all her children hate change if moving is the criteria.
point taken Laura - the Longs are sort of a movin' crew. We have a family realtor because we've known him for 25 yrs and he has acted for L & R in buying 2 houses and for us in selling 2 - this will be the third.
Kay called this AM - they are back from AZ and she is having a problem from her accident - a big pain in her butt to be exact - she's been having physio but it only works short term, so she's starting a new treatment and is hoping it will work.Geo is fine and AZ was good. no other news. Time for my evening milkshake
