summer
I have been living for these few weeks of summer we get. To be able to get the vegetables from the garden for supper. To sit on my lounge chair with my book and glance up once in a while at the beautiful blooming flower garden. I must try to appreciate it and not keep thinking that fall isn't really all that far away.

Think about moving to kelowna-we can do that for a good 5-6 months.
I understand having to stop yourself from thinking of future constantly instead of being in present [appreciate, appreciate, appreciate]. It's hard for me too.
Your summer may be short, but it is delightful - your yard is so lovely.
I on the other hand am not having such a great one (aLTHO ITS LONG). It is very hot, very smoky and VERY nosiy AND dusty. they are digging and hauling right up to the wall at the back and to add to it for some reason they have rooted up Cross road and have lots of big equipt working there too - dont understand why as I did not go to the meeting before they started. They had widened it a xouple of years ago and last year put in sidewalks. Well there you go - complain, bitch as I will it does not change anything.
When is Anne coming back to Canada and is she going right to Guelph

Yes, it is a pain to have equipment working outside your house. We had that early in the summer but knew we were getting a new road and sidewalks out if it. All you will get is traffic whizzing by.
Back in Canada now and very annoyed to be in Guelph. I wish I could come out for a visit this summer... sadly just can't do it :(
I went out and watered the plants on my balcony this morning before work, it felt so peaceful, and the flowers are loving this weather, they seem to grow more every day. Now this is what summer is all about.
And we really appreciate it this year since summer weather just started last week.
