Bird is better
Todd has had 2 fever-free days, after his second surgery on his ankle. He's no longer hooked up to any tubes (at least not all the time) and looks so much better the last couple of days. I went & visited him and we sat in the sun and he made snide comments about people walking by. He is on the mend!

Uh, although it now sounds like 4-6 weeks before hospital release. Not confirmed, but...
Well, that was wrong. After they feel they've gotten all the 'yick' in his leg, he will have 4-6 weeks of antibiotic treatment -- but will be released & just come in to do it, or do it from home. Better!
am so glad that Todd is improving - what a bad time he's had - please give him my best and tell him I'd be delighted to have a visit from him. Taht was a pretty serious illness he had
Whew! Glad to hear he's on the mend.
The other day when I visited him, he called himself Todd Sivak. He will have to get in line behind Scott, though.
