Not Very Big News at All

I think we have rented out our suite to someone. She's a 40(?) something Christian activity coordinator for an extended care. She bikes and takes the bus, prints out information on recycled paper.

Tell me, could there be anyone better?

What if this is all a big ruse?

What if the extended care residents don't want to do Christian activities?

Then they will have to sit doing nothing. Yes, wording of sentence was awkward, Richard asked me, 'What are Christian activities in an extended care?'

When Lisa got all excited that she rented the suite to a 40 something Christian activity co-ordinator, I couldnt help but think of all the good "heathen" renters we have had. The last self proclaimed "Christian" renter we had left the suite next door a mess and stuck us with unpaid utility bills.

Well I guess this new woman can't be worse cleanliness wise than the guy we have down there now. I always find it upsetting if I have to show the suite to potential renters and the current renter has the place a mess. We always give tenants plenty of notice prior to showing the suite in hopes that it will look respectable. I tell you the guy down there is pretty quiet but you'd think to make the place as messy as it was that you'd have to work pretty hard at it (and in the process make a lot of noise). Perhaps the lack of noise all of this time has simply been a lack of cleaning!

We did an inspection of the suite next door as well (also very dirty even though they knew we doing tour well in advance), and it looks like we need to do some repairs in the bathroom (shower area). I called up a contractor who did some work at the group home where I used to work and he is going to look at it on Tuesday.
